Garden in a Glass Smoothie Recipe

It’s incredible how much benefit you can get from just one glass of this green smoothie nutritional wonder!  The spinach in our drink packs a healthy punch of leutin and folate. Leutin helps maintain good eyesight and folate is needed for cell growth and division which is pretty important in the human body!  Folate also helps in the reduction of birth defects and may assist in keeping heart disease at bay by keeping homocysteine at appropriate levels.  Kale, a cruciferous veggie help fight off those nasty free radicals and thus, lowers your risk for certain cancers. The cancer-fighting fruits in this smoothie will provide a sweet taste without adding sugars that age you.  Last but not least, this delicious drink offers an omega3 boost thanks to the chia seeds.  Intake of omega-3 fats is associated with lower risk of certain cancers, heart disease, Alzheimer’s and dementia.  If you’re looking for a healthy drink that not only tastes great but is great for you, look no further!
