The Sloppy, But With Smarter Ingredients

One of the challenges your New Year’s resolution will face? Football games – and all the high-fat and massively caloric foods that come with them! But you don’t have to give in. You can play smarter. For a fabulous football snack, give your guests a healthy and hearty meal that seems unhealthy – but isn’t! Cleveland Clinic’s Sloppy Jim’s have plenty of ingredients that your body and brain will love. That’s because this delicious dish contains 14 grams of lean protein which is chockfull of amino acids that help to increase the brain’s neurotransmitters which aid in alertness (just in case the game is a bit boring). Additionally, this dish has almost no fat (compared with the 30 grams you’d get from the original version) and is low in sodium and carbohydrates. Spoon this onto a 100% whole grain hamburger bun, and you’re good to go for game time – or anytime.
