This year, I have decided to compete in my first natural bodybuilding contest … at the age of 43. Yes, my first bikini competition. Scared? I am terrified. I wanted to compete in my thirties. Guess what? I was too chicken. What would my neighbors think? What would my patients think? My family? My doctor colleagues? Could I do it? I have never worn a bikini in my life because I had always been overweight or obese.

This time, I am listening to my best self! I have lost more than 70 pounds, and I feel healthy and fit. Good-bye, comfort zone! Hello, amazing life!
